Start ShoppingThe old saying “there’s no accounting for taste” may be well-worn, but the figures don’t lie. These are the best-selling colours for our Nato straps. Army green, blue, black, and grey & black are our customers’ favourites. We’ve stocked up, so we’ll never run out of these colours 😜
I’ve already published several articles here on the blog about the features and benefits of always having a NATO strap to hand, so I won’t repeat myself.
NorteSpring Nato straps are made from high-quality nylon and are 1.2 mm thick, making them very durable. They are 28 cm long, fitting all wrist sizes. The clasp is made of shiny, ultra-durable stainless steel.
How to choose the colour that best matches your watch
There are several criteria you can use to decide which colour to choose. Here are some tips I usually use when advising customers. Answer the following questions and you’ll have the answer you need.
[Q] Do you prefer to create a contrast with the colour of the dial, or do you want to keep the colour of the dial and strap as uniform as possible?
[R]
If you prefer to keep the watch’s colour as uniform as possible, opt for a strap in the same colour as the dial’s background, or the same secondary colour on the dial—for example, similar to the colour of the numerals, hands, or other details on the watch.
If you prefer to create a contrast (this is my preferred option), choose to combine the colour of the dial and the strap in a harmonious way. Here are a few examples: an orange dial with a black leather strap
; a white or black dial with a military green strap
; a white dial with a blue leather strap
, etc. There are countless combinations you can try. If you feel you’re not very good at matching colours, ask a woman for her opinion (you won’t regret it).
[Q] What is your favourite colour?
[R]
The colour of the strap should match the watch, but it must also suit you. Don’t buy a leather strap
with red detailing if that’s a colour you don’t like. It might go with your watch, but you’ll soon tire of it. Choose the colours you like best, and then see which one goes best with your watch.
[Q] What is the predominant colour of the straps on your other watches?
[R]
Buying a new strap is the ideal time to refresh
the look
of your watches. If most of your watch straps are black or brown, choose a completely different colour for your leather strap
, for example dark blue or military green. These are two colours that are very easy to match and will bring you the change you need to enjoy your watch even more.
If, after answering the previous questions, you still can’t decide on a single colour, you can choose them all 😊
